The SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) Cable to Two U.2 Connectors is a high-performance cable designed for connecting two SAS/SATA devices using SFF-8644 or SFF-8468 connectors. The cable supports data rates up to 6 Gbps when used with SAS/SATA hard drives or solid-state drives (SSDs). It features two Mini SAS HD (High Density) connectors, one on each end of the SAS cable. Each connector is designed to plug into your server’s backplane or storage controller card and support point-to-point connections between storage devices such as hard drives and SSDs.
