If you would like to add bulkheads or stands to your Waterland Tub order, we will add them to your shipping quote. Custom wood stands for all the tubs are available with or without casters. Bulkheads are available in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" and 2" sizes.

  My name is Pete Jansema or otherwise known in the reptile industry as TurtlingPete. I have actively been breeding water turtles since my big move from the Netherlands to the United States in 1978.

    As the years have gone by, I have noticed with most tropical turtles have different breeding cycles. During the winter months, when the turtles were inside, they were laying their eggs in the water because of the difficulty of providing proper and adequate egg laying areas. After many years of broken and water logged eggs at the bottom of my aquarium, i became frustrated and I decided that it was time to do something about it.

    After months of brain storming with this idea, and the winter months just around the corner, a solution was coming to mind. I came up with Waterlandtubs. These tubs are the perfect solution for solving all my indoor egg laying problems. This solution has helped me resolve my problems and I hope it does the same for you.
